A homemade solar panel constructed by Roe Snyder out of a layer of honey sandwiched between aluminum and copper plates. The dissimilar metals will naturally create a small electric change between each other, and the honey heated by sunlight provides a conductive solution through which current can flow. This is similar to the potato batteries common in school science experiments.
Mr. Snyder said this panel was 2years old, and a voltmeter proved it could still output 1.5V.
